Researchers from the Institute of Medical Sciences Dr. Karen Courville, Dr. Virginia Nuñez, and Dr. Ivan Landires participated in the II Congress of Research Methodology at the Rafael Hernandez Hospital in Chiriqui.
At the congress, Dr. Courville presented on: How research helps population health and on non-traditional Chronic Kidney Disease or Mesoamerican Nephropathy.
Dr. Virginia Nuñez presented on: Epidemiology in health research: the importance of seat belt use in children in Panama and the importance of the pandemic clone of Escherichia coli (E. coli) ST131 in Panama and Central America.
Dr. Ivan Landires presented: How to present a research project to SENACYT? and about the ICM and its role in genetic diseases in Panama.
